   Electronic Data Interchange - An Overview

28 Texas Administrative Code §102.11, §124.2 and §134.802 requires that certain data be submitted to the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC) by electronic data interchange (EDI). Help is available from the EDI/TXCOMP Help Desk regarding:

  • becoming certified as a Trading Partner for EDI processes; 
  • requests for EDI reports;
  • troubleshooting error logs and acknowledgments;
  • TXCOMP access issues; and
  • other technical questions.
