OSHA Launches Safety Champions Program
Looking to strengthen your safety culture beyond basic compliance? OSHA’s Safety Champions Program is a new, free, voluntary, self-paced roadmap that helps employers move from reacting to incidents to preventing them. Built on OSHA’s Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Programs, it guides organizations through three progressive levels using seven core elements such as management leadership, worker participation, hazard identification, training, and program evaluation.
Learn more and see how your organization can become a Safety Champion at OSHA’s Safety Champion webpage, or download these DWC resources:
• Build a strong safety and health program (English/Spanish).
• Building a Safety Culture Fact Sheet (English).
