Windstorm System Disclaimers

Use of this internet site (site) is governed by the following terms, conditions, and disclaimers. Your use of this site means you (the site visitor) agree to the terms.

Subordinate User Disclaimer

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) grants access to its online web system to engineers that TDI appoints as a qualified inspector to perform windstorm inspections as a tool to submit and manage their projects. Because TDI appoints the engineer, he or she is responsible for managing any subordinate users that he or she grants access. If the subordinate user’s employment status changes or is terminated, the appointed engineer is responsible for notifying TDI directly of the change immediately to end access. To request the addition of subordinate users, the engineer must send TDI the subordinate user’s first and last name, email address, driver’s license number, and user name by email to engineering@tdi.texas.gov. TDI will not accept requests to add subordinate users from anyone other than the appointed engineer.

General Disclaimer

This information is compiled and made available as a service by TDI. TDI will not be liable for any damages, of any type whatsoever, caused by the actions or omissions of actions, taken in reliance upon any information contained in this site.
