Renew URA certification or registration online

You can renew URA certifications and URAREG registrations on Sircon.

What to expect on the online renewal form

You will need to affirm knowledge of applicable rules and laws.

The applicant must affirm they are familiar and compliant with the Texas statutes and rules for the type of utilization review the applicant is performing in Texas. These include:

  • Texas Insurance Code Chapters 4201 and 1305, which include links to the Texas Labor Code.
  • Texas Insurance Department and the Division of Workers’ Compensation’s rules as outlined in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) links below.

You will need to attach several documents (exhibits).

After you fill out the fee information on the online form, you will be asked if you would like to attach documents.

You will need to attach the following documents. Get them ready before going online to renew your license.

  • If renewing a license for health care under a health benefit plan or health insurance policy (28 TAC Section 19.1706 (c) and (e)), attach a document with the renewal applicant’s:
    • Name
    • License type
    • License number
    • State of licensure
    • Qualifications to perform the utilization review
  • If renewing a license for workers’ compensation insurance and specialty workers’ compensation insurance (28 TAC Section 19.2006 (c)), attach a document with the renewal applicant’s:
    • Name
    • License type
    • Texas license number
    • State of licensure
    • Qualifications to perform the utilization review
