3 steps to getting an amusement ride compliance sticker
According to Texas law, every amusement ride must display a compliance sticker. To get a compliance sticker for a ride you own, follow these three steps.

1. Get insurance
Your ride must have liability insurance to cover any injuries your passengers may obtain. Here is a list of carriers who write this type of coverage.

2. Get an inspection
We do not employ or appoint inspectors; you’ll need to hire an inspector that your insurance company approves. Contact your carrier for a list of inspectors that work in Texas.

3. Pay the filing fee
We charge a $40 filing fee per ride. You can make your payments online or mail a check or money order to:

Amusement ride reports
TDI updates its reports at least once a month on the last Friday of the month. If you had a change to your compliance sticker or insurance policy, you can ask that we make the update before the next monthly report.
