2.  How do I submit these documents?

You need a PIN number to access the portal. If you do not have the PIN, click the “Need PIN?” link on the login screen and you will be referred to the portal contact designated by the company. After you log in to the portal, the items eligible for submission will be listed near the bottom of the page. Click the Submit link and you will be prompted to search for a file saved on your computer.  Upload the appropriate file.

3.  How will I know the documents were submitted and received by TDI?

The document status will change from “pending” to “filed” and you will see a confirmation indicating the document was submitted. TDI staff will review the file when the status changes.

4.  Can I submit an address change through the Portal?

A limited number of address types are available to update via the Address Change Portal. See Address change portal page for more information.

5.  Who should I designate as my PIN Contact?

Typically, the person who serves as the regulatory liaison, compliance officer, or the person responsible for the financial, annual, or renewal filings.

6.  Can filings be made by persons other than the designated PIN Contact?

Yes, the company may authorize more than one person to make filings on their behalf.

7.  What if I lose my PIN?

For the filing types listed above, send an email to For security reasons we can only send PIN information to a person we can confirm is associated with the company. Be sure to save the PIN in a central location in case the designated PIN Contact is unavailable.

8.  Why can’t I see the documents when I log in?

The submissions will typically be available 30 days in advance of the due date. If the Submit button is still not available let us know.

9.  What if my file is too big?

Only one attachment per filing can be uploaded via the portal and size is limited to 150MB. Combine all pages into one file or use Adobe Acrobat Pro to combine multiple pages. To reduce file size, scan in black and white (not grayscale) and set document to a low resolution.

10.  I’m getting an error message “The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.”

The portal website currently blocks access from other countries except the US, Canada, or India as a security measure. Foreign companies will need to have a representative in the US to make changes.
