Getting help with a health plan that TDI doesn’t regulate

Español

TDI can help you with issues involving insurance companies, health plans and people we regulate. We don’t regulate most health plans.

TDI doesn’t regulate:

  • Self-funded plans.
  • Medicare, Medicaid.
  • CHIP plans that aren’t HMOs.
  • Military plans.
  • City, county, state, and federal employee plans.
  • Teacher plans.

Not sure what kind of plan you have?

Look at your plan documents or talk to the benefits administrator where you work.
