Reference Number TDI-04-BB-155-TDI-PF, Texas Department of Insurance Public Insurance Adjuster Bond, Insurance Agency Bond and Surplus Lines Agents Bond.
These bond forms may be submitted to meet the requirements specified in 28 TAC §19.705 and Texas Insurance Code, Articles 21.07 and 21.07-5, Chapter 981 and rules relating to surplus lines insurance.

This bond form may be used as an alternative to a hearing described in Transportation Code §501.052 for the issuance of a certificate of title for a vehicle.

Insurers that wish to write the bonds described in this bulletin are required to make a filing with the Texas Department of Insurance as outlined in the reference filing procedures contained in Property and Casualty Filings Made Easy accessible on our website at www.tdi.state.tx.us/company/rspceasy.html.
Assignment of reference numbers does not preclude the independent filing of surety bond forms by insurance companies for approval by the Commissioner. The filing company must confirm that the form(s) meet the statutory requirements of the appropriate state agency, and that the state agency finds the forms acceptable.
