Re: Weather-related events occurring on March 12 through March 13, 1999

In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related event occurring on March 12, 1999 through March 13, 1999, in the counties of Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Llano, Travis and Williamson, is a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
