Re:   Community Volunteer Fire Department (Alief, Alief-Clodine, and Mission Bend.)

Insurance Services Office (ISO) has performed a survey of the Community Volunteer Fire Department and areas served by the department. Community Volunteer Fire Department responds to areas outside the city limits of Houston (Harris & Fort Bend Counties) traditionally referred to as Alief, Alief-Clodine, and Mission Bend, Texas. ISO has recommended a Public Protection Classification of 4/9. The recommendation has been reviewed and approved. The effective date of this change is August 1, 1998. Therefore, effective August 1, 1998 the Public Protection classification of 4/9 will apply to the following areas:

  • Alief, Texas
  • Alief-Clodine, Texas
  • Mission Bend, Texas

Note, all policies written on or after August 1, 1998 are subject to the classification indicated above.
