The Texas Department of Insurance will hold a hybrid rule hearing, allowing for in-person and virtual participation, to hear comments on the following 28 TAC proposals:
- Docket No. 2869—Amendments addressing the dissolution of the Texas Self-Insurance Group Guaranty Fund (Sections 5.6401–5.6411 and 5.6413)
- Docket No. 2870—Amendments concerning maintenance taxes for workers’ compensation policies (Sections 1.414 and 6.601)
- Docket No. 2871—Amendments to conform health benefit plan rules to implement recent legislation (Sections 21.109, 21.120, 21.701, 21.705, 21.3003, 21.4003, 21.4502, 21.4703, 21.5501, and 21.5503)

If you would like to comment on any of these proposals at this hearing, you must fill out a public participation form for each. After those wishing to speak on the first proposal have had an opportunity, we will close the first docket and move to the next proposal. The hearing will conclude once the public participation is complete for the final proposal.
