National Ladder Safety Month: March 2026
Ladders are among the most frequently used tools on the job, yet ladder falls continue to cause serious injuries each year. This March marks the 10th anniversary of National Ladder Safety Month, led by the American Ladder Institute, with the theme “10 Years of Safer Climbing.” The monthlong campaign highlights five weekly safety messages: Choose the Right Ladder, Check Before You Climb, Set It Up Safely, Climb Safely – Work Safely, and Safe Steps with Stepstools.
Take time this month to:
- Inspect ladders.
- Retrain workers on proper setup and climbing techniques.
- Refresh your ladder safety rules.
