We now offer two ways to earn continuing education (CE) credit. Choose the format that works best for your schedule and learning style.

  • Live CompCourses webinars: Participate in real-time, one-hour webinars featuring a 45-minute presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A with DWC subject-matter experts.
  • On-demand self-study webinars: Watch previously recorded webinars on YouTube and pass a short quiz for CE credit at your own pace.

Choose the format that works best for you – live or on-demand – and earn CE credit while staying current on Texas workers’ compensation topics and best practices.

Live webinars

Live CompCourses webinars include a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. You must be present for the entire webinar, including the Q&A to receive one hour of general education credit from TDI.

Navigating the top 10 workers' compensation disputes - Spring 2026

This webinar will offer practical tips for navigating the top ten disputes in the Texas workers’ compensation system. Attendees will learn about DWC’s dispute resolution process as well as ethical considerations relevant to workers’ compensation dispute resolution in Texas.

Texas workers' compensation income benefits 101 - Summer 2026

This webinar will explore different income benefits in the Texas workers’ compensation system, including temporary income benefits, impairment income benefits, supplemental income benefits, and lifetime income benefits. Attendees will learn how these benefits are calculated, how long each type of benefit lasts, and how an injured employee qualifies for each benefit type.

Medical fee dispute resolution - Fall 2026

This webinar will explain the medical fee dispute resolution process in Texas. Attendees will learn when to use this dispute path, how file a DWC Form-060, and possible outcomes.

Return to work - Winter 2026

This webinar will discuss the concept of return to work (RTW) and its importance in the workers’ compensation system. Attendees will learn the benefits of early RTW, implementing a RTW program, and roles for all system participants in successful RTW.

On-demand webinars

On-demand, self-study CompCourses webinars include a one-hour video and a short quiz to test your knowledge. You must watch the entire video and score at least 70% on the quiz to receive one hour of self-study general education credit from TDI.

How do I get CE credit for attending a CompCourses webinar?

For a live webinar:
  • Sign up for the webinar and make sure to include your license number when registering.
  • After the webinar, DWC will send the list of attendees who were present for the entire webinar and Q&A to TDI.
  • Please allow several weeks for your credit to be processed.

For an on-demand webinar:

  • Click on the quiz link for the course you’d like to take.
  • Watch the YouTube video and answer all quiz questions, including entering your name, email, and license number.
  • Please allow several weeks for your credit to be processed.

I joined the live webinar but haven’t gotten my CE credit yet. What should I do? 

It may take a few weeks for your CompCourses CE credit to be reflected in Sircon. If you still don’t see your CE credit, please contact DWCEvents@tdi.texas.gov for help.

Can I get CE credit from other credentialing agencies?

Currently DWC’s CompCourses offers general education credit from TDI. You may apply for credit with other organizations using the post-webinar email as proof of attendance. If you have additional questions, contact DWCEvents@tdi.texas.gov.

I missed the live webinar. Can I still get CE credit?

Yes – we now offer an on-demand, self-study version of our previous live webinars designed to take at your own pace. Learn more about our on-demand webinars.
