For Sprinkler firm applications, use the following example on how to answer questions 9, and 10a.
Answer Example: Name, title, separated by a comma.
Example: John Smith, Officer, Frank Smith, Owner, Joe Smith, Director
- Go to the Sircon website and Select “Apply for a License.”
- Select “Other License.”
Select "Non-Resident.”
Select “Firm,” then click Continue. - Select your “State of Residency” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the required information for the “Firm License Application” section.
- EIN (Employer Identification Number, also known as the Federal Employer Identification Number).
For Sole Proprietors, this cannot be your SSN (Social Security Number). - Agency Type (Example: Corporation).
- Preparer – select either “Applicant” or “Authorized Submitter.”
- EIN (Employer Identification Number, also known as the Federal Employer Identification Number).
- In the “States” section select “Texas.”
- Verify the payment method. Click Continue.
- Select the State License Type you are applying for and answer either Yes or No to the “Previously Licensed” question. Click Continue.
- Complete the required “Agency Information.” NOTE: Within the Required License Number field, Enter: “ 12345.”
Enter the Business and Mailing Addresses and Phone information.
Click Continue. - Enter the required information for at least one person in the “Owners and Officers” section. Click “Add More Owners and Officers” if you need to include additional people. Click Continue.
- You must answer all the “Firm Non-Resident License Application Questions.” You will have an opportunity to attach any required documents to this application after you submit this application. Click Continue.
- Read the “Attestation Information for State of Texas” section carefully. Mark the “I Agree” box. Click Continue.
- Before you submit your application, click “Review License Application” to check your information.
- Mark the boxes:
- To verify that you understand that fees are non-refundable.
- If you want to receive notifications, check the box, and enter Email Address.
Review the “Additional State Requirements”
Click Submit.
- Attach all required documents to your submitted application.
- Review the Required Attachments section of the Additional State Requirements document within the application.
- Click on Choose File and locate the document you want to attach and click OK.
- Include a brief description of the document (example: Certificate of Organization).
- Click Attach.
Repeat the above 3 steps until you have attached all your documents.
- Click Submit to send your application for processing.
