If you’re hosting a Fourth of July fireworks display that requires a permit, don’t forget these deadlines.
For escrow accounts
All money must be received in escrow by Monday, June 23. Money received for escrow will only be held in our office for 180 days from the time it's received.
For applications received by mail
All payments and applications must be received by Monday, June 23.

For email applications
Email fireworks display applications to FMLicensing@tdi.texas.gov by 5 p.m. Thursday, June 26. You must already have money in escrow by June 23.
For changes to your display
You’ll need to pay another permit fee and send an updated signed certification from your local authority if you:
- Change the date of the display.
- Add a rain date after the show date.
- Change or add a firing location.
All fees are nonrefundable. There isn’t a fee for adding a rain date before the show date.
