Submittal Requirements for Product Evaluation Reports

On February 1, 2021, TDI transitioned to a paperless product submittal process.

TDI continues to review product submittals in the order they are received.

Submit Product Evaluation Requests via Email

Use the following guideline to prepare your submittal:

Submittal Guidelines

Your submittal must be complete and include all required documents in one email. TDI will accept only one submittal per email. Send your submittal requests to:

ProductEvaluationSubmittals@tdi.texas.gov

In the subject line of your email, please indicate the product type, whether it is impact or non-impact resistant, and if it is a request for a new product listing or an update to an existing evaluation report by including the product evaluation report number. As an example, for new product evaluation reports: Casement Wood Windows, Impact, New Evaluation; or, for an update to an existing product evaluation report: Casement Wood Windows, Impact, WIN-"xxx".

Use the following template to create your cover letter for a new product evaluation report or to request a revision to an existing product evaluation report:
