Workers' compensation insurance coverage verification

In Texas, private employers can choose to carry workers’ compensation coverage (subscribers), but it is not required in most cases. Employers without workers’ compensation coverage are called non-subscribers. Employers can also apply for a certificate to self-insure, which allows the employer to pay their own workers’ compensation losses, rather than buy an insurance policy.

The coverage data we keep comes from information that insurance carriers and employers send to us.
