OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training (English)

Day 1: August 1st start time 8 a.m., with breaks and lunch. Ends at 5 p.m.

Day 2: August 2nd start time 1:30 p.m. Ends at 5 p.m.

The Division of Workers' Compensation offers valuable safety training at a low cost with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction classes. The two-day course is presented by OSHA accredited instructors and designed to train employers and employees in the basics of construction safety, including specific OSHA standards and requirements. The class also teaches safety awareness to help employees recognize and reduce job-site hazards and risks.

Classes are given in both English and Spanish and offered in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, La Marque (Houston area), and El Paso. Participants who complete the two-day course receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction class completion card within eight weeks.
