Returning injured employees back to work as soon as medically possible following an injury is a major goal of the workers' compensation system.
This course is offered in person to help employers, adjusters and health care providers understand the benefits of early return to work following a work related illness or injury. Employers will learn how to significantly reduce their workers' compensation costs, eliminate unnecessary lost time and control costly staff turnover. Adjusters and employers will learn how to work effectively together and use the tools provided by the workers' compensation system to improve return to work outcomes.
