Insurance Company Inspection Information and Analysis
The Accident Prevention Services (APS) program inspects insurance companies that write workers' compensation insurance to determine the adequacy of their accident prevention services, including service plans and health and safety training courses. Policyholder job-site inspections are conducted to verify services. The plans of insurance companies seeking initial license to write workers' compensation insurance are also evaluated by this section.
Required Compliance
- 100% compliance is expected.
- Insurance companies that are at or above 90% compliance are considered to "Meet Standards" (pass inspection).
- Any area of non-compliance is referred to Enforcement.
