Tips for Viewing Designated Doctor Presentations

The designated doctor training presentations are best viewed by first downloading the .pdf files to your computer/device.

Software you need:

  • To open the .pdf files, you need Adobe Reader version 9 or above.
  • To play video clips embedded in .pdf files, you need Flash.

Apple users: the embedded video does not work in iOS devices like an iPad, but does work in Mac OS devices like a MacBook.

How to download and open a presentation

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Right-click the presentation link
  2. Choose the “Save target as…” option from the pop-up window
  3. Save the file on your computer/device
  4. Find the saved file on your computer/device
  5. Double-click the file name to open in Adobe

Google Chrome

  1. Right-click the presentation link
  2. Choose the “Save link as…" option from the pop-up window
  3. Save the file on your computer/device
  4. Find the saved file on your computer/device
  5. Double-click the file name to open in Adobe

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Right-click the presentation link
  2. Choose the "Save Link As…" option from the pop-up window
  3. Save the file on your computer/device
  4. Find and open the PDF file on your computer/device
  5. Double-click the file name to open in Adobe

Apple Safari

  1. Press the "Ctrl" button and click the presentation link
  2. Choose the “Download Linked File As…" option and save the file on your Mac
  3. Find the saved file on your Mac and right click on the file name
  4. Choose the “Open With” option and select the Adobe option
