State Fire Marshal - TEXFIRS Data Summary Reports
In an effort to provide fire departments pertinent information concerning their incident activity, the following summary report request options are available:
USFA SUMMARY REPORTS
A Web-Based Summary Output Reports Tool is available on the USFA website, www.nfirs.fema.gov/webtools. The tool generates summary reports on Texas data directly from the national NFIRS database. Users with active NFIRS accounts should request access to the tool by contacting the SFMO or may use the Guest account. The Guest account provides access to fire department, county or statewide data and is available upon request.
The Guest account is maintained by the Texas SFMO office.

Warning: This account provides access to information statewide, more than 1 million records per year. Be sure to choose your report parameters carefully.
When requesting a report we recommend you include Versions Both, Status All, and Released All.

SFMO SUMMARY REPORTS
Fire Departments and the general public may also submit requests for summary information on TEXFIRS data thru the SFMO office. Summary reports may include fire cause, incident type, property use, dollar loss, or other data categories as needed. Be specific about the information you are seeking and provide all requestor contact information.
