Division’s Wichita Falls Office Changes Service to Injured Employees
AUSTIN, TX - Effective March 1, 2010, the Wichita Falls Office of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC) will provide walk-in customer service to injured employees by appointment only.
Benefit Review Conferences, Contested Case Hearings and appointments with the Office of Injured Employee Counsel ombudsman will continue to be held at the Wichita Falls Field Office location as scheduled. Injured employees should call 1-800-252-7031 for assistance with their workers’ compensation claim or to make an appointment.
All correspondence and faxes relating to claims, including official actions, letters of clarification and forms, should be submitted to the TDI-DWC Denton Field Office by mail to 625 Dallas Drive, Suite 475, Denton, Texas 76205-7289 or by fax to 940-380-1408.
The TDI-DWC Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCON) services for employers in the Wichita Falls area will be unaffected by these changes. Employers can continue to call 940-767-2691 extension 700 for workplace safety assistance.
