Premium Finance Companies

New Process for renewing your license

  • New license number – each Premium Finance licensee was assigned a new license number. TDI emailed an updated license with the new number for your records. The new number will be needed for the upcoming renewal transaction. Review the new license and confirm everything is correct. If not, let us know by email to
  • You may continue to operate, as long as you have filed.  Licenses will be issued during December or January.

  • Banks have a new license type – Licenses currently held by Banks were converted to “Premium Finance Bank” because of the differences in the requirements for licensure.

  • Changes were completed October 17, 2022 – renewals for 2023 can be submitted via
