State Mandated Benefits
Texas law requires that Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) must cover certain health care services within their benefit plan.
The purpose of this webpage is to provide information on state mandated health care benefits that must be covered by an HMO. These benefits may be different based on the type of health benefit plan, such as small employer (2-50 employees), large employer (51-more employees), or limited provider health benefit plans.
