Types of Cases Investigated by the Fraud Unit
The Insurance Fraud Unit maintains three investigative sections.
- The Claimant and Provider Fraud Section focuses on fraud committed against the insurance industry,
- the Insurer Fraud Section focuses on fraud committed within and by the insurance industry,
- and the Workers' Compensation Fraud Section focuses on fraud associated with benefit and premium fraud.
