Important Information for SIU's
Approximately 75% of the suspected fraud reports from insurers lack sufficient information to determine whether an investigation should be opened. In an effort to enhance the quality and completeness of fraud reports, we have created a tip sheet for SIUs to develop a Comprehensive Suspected Fraud Report. Our intention is to acquire more comprehensive information about the suspected fraudulent act that will allow us the opportunity to assess the viability of a Fraud Unit criminal investigation.
