What Is the Speakers Bureau?

Have you or your group ever wondered why your insurance costs what it does? Do you feel lost when someone mentions HMOs or long-term care policies? A Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) speaker can come to your organization and answer your insurance questions. Read the information below to learn more about our Speakers Bureau Program.

TDI´s staff of well-trained, well-informed speakers can travel to your town to speak about insurance issues that matter to you. We will be happy to tailor our presentation to match your interests, and we can stay to take questions. We offer special presentations on a number of insurance topics:

  • Automobile
  • Homeowners
  • Health
  • Life
  • HMOs
  • Long-Term Care
  • Medicare Supplement
  • Fraud
  • Workers´ Compensation

We also provide staff to make special presentations at:

  • Conferences/teleconferences
  • Workshops

We require that a minimum of 30 participants be in your listening group. Please provide us with six to eight weeks advanced notice.

  • Complete the online Speakers Bureau Request Form
  • Fill out Speakers Bureau Request Form and mail, e-mail, or fax it to us.
