Revision of Texas Standard Provision For General Liability Policies --- Amendatory Endorsement - Notice

General remarks and official action taken:

On this date the State Board of Insurance considered and approved a filing by the Insurance Services Office proposing an Amendatory Endorsement to be attached to all General Liability policies, providing Bodily Injury Liability coverage and Property Damage Liability coverage, effective on or after May 1, 1973.

This endorsement follows Automobile endorsement 158L, as prescribed in Board Order No. 22582 dated January 26, 1973.

A copy of this filing is attached to and made a part of this Order.

GENERAL LIABILITY
Amendatory Endorsement - Notice
(Texas)

As respects bodily injury liability coverage and property damage liability coverage, unless the company is prejudiced by the insured's failure to comply with the requirement, any provision of this policy requiring the insured to give notice of action, occurrence or loss, or requiring the insured to forward demands, notices, summons or other legal process, shall not bar liability under this policy.

Instructions

This endorsement must be attached to all General Liability policies issued or delivered in Texas.
