Re:   2017 Texas Title Insurance Company call for experience for the calendar year ended December 31, 2016


TDI issues this mandatory data call under Insurance Code §2703.153, which requires each title insurance company engaged in the business of title insurance to annually submit certain data to TDI. The data collected is used to set title insurance premium rates, as required by Insurance Code §2703.151.

If your company has no experience to report for 2016, you must submit a "none" report. Please see the instructions for additional information on submitting a "none" report.    

You must use the forms posted in this bulletin. You may not alter any of the exhibit forms, except to complete the required information. You must submit your report file and affidavit to PCDataCallTitle@tdi.texas.gov

If you are unable to download any of the data call documents, or have any questions concerning this data call, please contact Shanna Sherwood by phone at 512-676-6681, or by email at PCDataCallTitle@tdi.texas.gov.

You must respond to this data call no later than February 2, 2018, using the instructions and forms found below. If you do not respond to this data call within the deadline, you may be in violation of the Texas Insurance Code and subject to applicable penalties.
