Re:   Weather-related events occurring on June 15, 2008 through June 19, 2008


In accordance with the Insurance Code, Section 542.059, and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on June 15, 2008 through June 19, 2008, in the counties of Anderson, Andrews, Angelina, Armstrong, Bailey, Borden, Briscoe, Callahan, Carson, Castro, Cherokee, Childress, Cochran, Collin, Collingsworth, Cottle, Crosby, Dallam, Dallas, Deaf Smith, Dickens, Donley, Eastland, Ector, Ellis, Erath, Fisher, Floyd, Fort Bend, Freestone, Gaines, Galveston, Garza, Glasscock, Gray, Hale, Hall, Hamilton, Hardeman, Harris, Hartley, Hemphill, Henderson, Hockley, Hopkins, Houston, Hutchinson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jones, Kaufman, Kent, King, Knox, Lamb, Lipscomb, Lubbock, Lynn, Martin, Midland, Motley, Nacogdoches, Newton, Nolan, Ochiltree, Oldham, Orange, Parker, Parmer, Pecos, Polk, Potter, Randall, Rockwall, Scurry, Shelby, Smith, Stonewall, Tarrant, Taylor, Terry, Trinity, Upshur, Upton, Van Zandt, Wharton, Wilbarger, Wise, Wood, and Yoakum are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing.

Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe in the counties listed above shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Section 542.059, Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
